← The Imaginal Act, thirty days

Week 4 · Compound · Day 29 of 30

The month snapshot

Today's intent (planned)

Re-score the Atlas, compare it with your first week, and seal your first monthly snapshot.

The practice

  1. Set today's look-for in reality/log/<today>.md.
  2. Without looking back, score the twelve domains again in reality/atlas.md (Studio: Atlas): now and wanted, 0 to 10. A blank stays a blank. Change the heading to # Atlas — updated <today>.
  3. Open the Atlas in your day 7 snapshot. For each domain that moved, ask: can I point to a fact line in my ledger, or did my view of it change? Both are real, and they are different.
  4. List the month: aims closed or changed, decisions due, entries by kind, signs primed and unprimed, look-fors set, came and missed.
  5. Answer the four questions: true now, what changed, grateful for, one correction.
  6. If it is true for you, seal reality/snapshots/<today>.md (Studio: Timeline) with cadence: monthly and period: <day 1> → <today>. With the plugin, reality-loop walks monthly and writes only the scores you give.

Why it works

Meaning

A month is a chapter. You can read it as its author: honest about what happened, free about what it means. If a score rose, let yourself notice. If a score fell, let it be part of the story without becoming the whole of it.

Mechanism

Your scores are perceptions, built from expectation and evidence. A score can move because something in your life changed, or because what you notice changed. Tying each move to a fact line shows which. Comparing with a sealed record, not memory, keeps the comparison fair. No change in a score shows that a thought acted on events.

Tonight (reported)

Add an entry at the top of reality/witness.md, headed ### <today> <time> · gratitude (Studio: Witness):

  • Happened (fact): One domain that moved, and the fact line behind it.
  • Meant (my meaning): What this month means to you.
  • Did (action): Only what is done: the month, sealed.
  • Next (planned): Tomorrow: keep, release, carry.
  • Did it come? In the log: - Did it come: yes, no or not marked.
